The Mystery of Aging by Beth Bowman R.N. copyright 2009

What is aging?
Is it a complex natural process that affects every part of our being?
Can we do anything about it? Aren’t these the questions we all have?

At age twenty the aging process begins and some day we face the inevitable, that our bodies will some day look like prunes!

Blood vessels begin to accumulate fatty deposits which leads to hardening of the arteries. The digestive system begins to slow down and even our breathing begins to decrease in each stage of life.

Understanding these processes helps us to determine what we can do to slow down the aging process.

We know life style choices of diet and exercise as well as the environment affects us both externally and internally.

We have the visible signs of aging but not the invisible, we can’t see inside ourselves.

Do we have any other options really for slowing down the aging mystery?

In recent years there has been discussion about the health benefits of red wine.
Much research has been done and published on the effects of red grapes on our health.

The secret ingredient in the grape is Resveratrol that repairs, regulates as well as help to slow down aging in our bodies on the cellular level.

Muscadine grapes have been recently determined to have some effects on aging. This new super grape not only has the resveratrol but an extra chromosome that may provide some evidence to support the fight on the aging process.

After all, most of us desire to look and feel at least twenty five years younger than we really are. We then must take that next step to put this desire in motion. This begins the fight on slowing down the aging process and its mystery upon our bodies.
